Guy Line for Awning Arm
The guy line is intended as a replacement or additional part for the designated arm of a compatible Alu-Cab awning. It supports the intended guying of the deployed system and is therefore one of the parts that should be correctly positioned during every camp setup.
Guying is Part of the Overall System
A guy line alone does not make an awning storm-proof. Stability depends on the awning model, brackets, mounting, ground surface, guying points, and weather conditions.
Take a Conservative Approach in Windy Conditions
Wind can exert significant forces on a deployed awning surface. In strong, gusty, or increasing winds, retract the awning as a precaution rather than relying solely on the guying.
Check Model and Position
Before ordering, compare the awning arm, existing guy line, length, and mounting points. Only install in the designated position.

More Shade at Camp – with Properly Set Up Guying
An awning should provide quick protection. This works most reliably when all small securing parts are complete and properly fitted.
