Which Alu-Cab product is right for you?

Roof tents: LT-50, Gen 3-R, 2 Sleeper and Family

An Alu-Cab roof tent creates a sleeping area on the vehicle, while the cargo area remains free for your luggage. In the range you will find the LT-50 roof tent, the Gen 3-R, the 2 Sleeper and the Family RT-4S. When choosing, the required sleeping area, the tent weight, the space on the roof and the mounting system are particularly important. Compare the dimensions and the scope of delivery on the respective product pages. You can find further decision-making aids in our guide to Alu-Cab roof tents.

Awnings: shade and weather protection for the vehicle

An Alu-Cab awning expands your living area when camping. Among the options are the 270° awning for the left side of the vehicle, the right 270° version as well as more compact 2 m and 180° models. Pay attention to the mounting side, the swivel range and the suitable bracket for roof racks, roof tents or campers. Side walls and other accessories must match the specific awning version.

Hardtops: using the cargo area for everyday use and travel

Alu-Cab hardtops such as Guard, Explorer, Adventure and Contour are available in different vehicle versions. A hardtop is a structure above the cargo area; for travel planning you can combine it with storage space, a suitable mounting system or other accessories. The pickup model, year of manufacture, cabin shape and cargo area length are crucial. Windows, surfaces and equipment details also differ depending on the item.

Campers and pop-up roofs: planning the vehicle conversion

Canopy campers and Khaya are other Alu-Cab solutions for travel conversions. For certain off-road vehicles, there are also pop-up roofs, such as Icarus, Hercules, Thor or Silenus. First plan how many people are traveling, whether you want access to the sleeping area from the vehicle and what equipment you need on the road. Then check the exact vehicle compatibility and the scope of delivery. You should consider interior fittings, electrical systems and other accessories as separate components of your planning.

Select accessories and spare parts specifically

In the range you will also find ladders, tables, brackets, seals and other spare parts. Search with the item number whenever possible and check the model, generation, dimensions and mounting side. This way you can distinguish similar components and appropriately complement your existing equipment.

Frequently asked questions about Alu-Cab

Where can I find current Alu-Cab prices?

You can find the current prices directly with the products in this overview. Select the desired version on the product page and also compare the scope of delivery. For your overall budget, carriers, mounting brackets, accessories and shipping may also be relevant. For a larger vehicle conversion, an individual inquiry with your planned equipment is worthwhile.

Does Alu-Cab fit my Ford Ranger, Hilux or Amarok?

The brand alone is not enough for compatibility. For hardtops and campers, the vehicle model, year of manufacture, cabin shape and cargo area must match the specified version. For roof tents and awnings, the mounting system, permissible loads and required brackets are also important. Send us your vehicle data and the desired items for an inquiry.

What do I need to install a roof tent?

Check the weight of the tent and carriers, the permissible roof load of your vehicle, as well as the approvals of the mounting system. Also pay attention to the manufacturer's specifications for stationary use. You can find which brackets are included or additionally required in the respective product description and installation instructions.

How do hardtops and canopy campers differ?

A hardtop covers the cargo area and provides a basis for transport and conversion. A canopy camper combines the pickup structure with a fold-out sleeping area. Which solution makes sense depends on how you use your vehicle in everyday life and what living and sleeping space you need on trips.

Where can I see the delivery time and availability?

The information is provided with the respective item. It may differ depending on the model and version. For a planned trip or conversion date, clarify the required delivery date with us in advance. Request Alu-Cab advice now.
