Description
The ProLink Bridle offers winch owners the option of replacing the traditional winch hook with a safer and stronger screw bolt shackle/D-ring. The ProLink Bridle is a product designed to attach multiple shackles to a winch cable. It is a specifically commercial product designed primarily for towing companies. The three individual shackle attachment holes allow the winch operator to attach fixed length bridle links to the outboard positioned holes for traditional bridle tows, as well as a single centered shackle attachment point for a traditional single shackle recovery point. Special shackle attachment points prevent dangerous side shackle loading due to the pivoting function of the shackle bolt attachment holes. This allows the application of closed system winching techniques. Suitable for high repetition commercial towing, special self-centering shackles provide a safer method of towing. The ProLink Bridle works in a similar way to the lug tow used in the marine towing industry where boat yaw is undesirable. Like all models in the ProLink family, the ProLink Bridle is made in the USA from 6000 series aluminum and features a 6Al-4V titanium double shear pin. The ProLink Bridle is only available in military-spec anodizing (Mil-A-8625 F Type III) with a hard anodized gray finish.
