The ARB differential covers are made of extremely robust cast iron, which is harder than steel. The cover protects the differential as well as the bevel and crown gear particularly effectively in the event of heavy contact with the ground, while the flat shape ensures a high level of ground clearance under the axles. In addition, the ARB cover increases the torsional rigidity of the entire axle geometry by 1,300 Nm thanks to its computer-calculated design - so the cone and crown rim run completely torsion-free, which increases their service life. An integrated oil dipstick not only allows you to check the level, but also shows whether water has penetrated the differential. Magnets on the oil drain plug and dipstick also pick up metal parts and provide early indications of impending damage or increased wear.
