WARN Drill Winch
Whether on the hunting grounds, doing garden work, or loading under controlled conditions: With the WARN Drill Winch with synthetic rope, you can use a standard drill driver as the power source for a portable rope winch. You do not need a winch motor permanently mounted to the vehicle or a separate 12-V connection.
The WARN Drill Winch model offers a rated pulling capacity of up to 340 kg on a single line, approximately 12 m of synthetic rope, and a free-spool clutch for paying out the rope. The drill driver is not included.
Important: This Drill Winch is designed for pulling loads. It is not a hoist and must not be used to lift loads or people.
The Drill Winch is a compact, portable solution for occasional pulling tasks. It is powered by a suitable, standard drill driver – no dedicated electric winch motor is required.
WARN specifies a maximum rated pulling capacity of around 340 kg for this 750-lb model. The highest pulling capacity is available when the drum is lightly loaded with rope; it decreases with additional layers of rope.
The approximately 12 m synthetic rope can be paid out via the free-spool clutch when the winch is unloaded. An integrated rope guide supports the intended rope path.
The winch features a rope hook and an anchor hook for attaching it to suitable rigging and load points. Suitable additional rigging equipment is required separately depending on the task.
The WARN Drill Winch is designed for controlled pulling tasks, such as moving suitable objects in the garden or workshop, pulling game on the hunting grounds, or pulling rolling loads onto a trailer. Light pulling tasks related to forestry and property work are also among the applications mentioned by the manufacturer.
However, it is not a substitute for a large vehicle recovery winch. Whether a pulling task is possible depends not only on the rated pulling capacity but also on friction, the ground surface, rigging points, rope load, and the information in the WARN operating instructions.
