The telescopic poles are used to attach the side walls to the awning, thereby creating an enclosed awning enclosure. The telescopic design ensures that the awning enclosure remains evenly high even on uneven terrain. The poles are attached to the lower side of the aluminum profiles and do not interfere when opening or closing the awning. One pole is included with the purchase of the awning. This can be used to stabilize it in windy conditions. In stronger winds, we also recommend using the storm kit.
