The suspension lift kit for the Ford Transit from 2014 with all-wheel drive (4x4) increases the ground clearance by approx. 45-50 mm. The improved ground clearance makes the vehicle more off-road capable and larger tires can be fitted. The raising is achieved by a suspension distance kit (SDK), which integrates spacer rings into the chassis.
Spacer rings are used on the front axle and are installed below the strut mounts. For the rear axle, either spacer blocks are used or extended shock absorbers are installed. This technology ensures a sustainable lift without changing the suspension travel. During development, delta4x4 attaches great importance to ensuring that the chassis geometry is only minimally adjusted in order to keep wear on the drive components as low as possible. Extreme lifts are therefore not possible with this system.
