ARB differential lock VW Amarok 2010-2020

You can retrofit the ARB differential lock. The big advantage of this switchable lock is that the differential works like an open differential in traffic. You avoid unnecessary tire wear and there is no surprise lock-out. In the terrain you can activate the lock within 1/10 of a second by pressing a button and it has a 100% effect. Installation is uncomplicated, all you have to do is replace the differential basket. The necessary compressor in the system generates the pressure required to lock the differential at the push of a button. When switched on, a ring piston built into the differential is activated, which locks the differential. When switched off, the compressed air escapes from the solenoid valve and small high-performance springs release the locking ring. Then the differential works again as a normal "open" differential.

Attention: Since the Amarok uses expansion bolts to fasten the crown wheel, you have to replace them with original VW bolts. Likewise, in most cases, the shoulder bearings cannot be dismantled without damaging them. We therefore recommend that you arrange for an original VW replacement in advance.

Any accessories shown, such as ball, roller and cylinder bearings, are not included in the scope of delivery.
